Practice test generator from your study PDF

Build a focused practice test from material you already have, without setting up an account or writing every question yourself. Use one text-based PDF to create a private study session you can check against the source.

Upload a text-based PDF you are allowed to use, then choose 10 or 20 questions, Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty, and a question language. ExamLift creates the practice exam from the extracted page text, with a source page number and exact passage for every question. Start with the five-question preview and unlock the complete exam only if it suits your study plan. After you submit the full exam, you receive a score and can review missed questions with your answer, the correct answer, an explanation, and the supporting passage.

Build a focused practice test

  1. 1Upload your own text-based study material, or a PDF you're allowed to use.
  2. 2Choose 10 or 20 questions, easy, medium, or hard difficulty, and a question language.
  3. 3Use the five-question preview to decide whether the full test is useful.

Ways to use a full practice exam

One week before an exam, upload the course review packet and create a 20-question practice exam across the material. Complete it without reopening the PDF, then use the score and missed-question review to plan which sections deserve the remaining study time. For language-focused reading practice, upload a reading packet you are allowed to use and choose the language you want for the questions and explanations. Work through the exam as a comprehension check, then compare any missed answer with the cited passage in the document's original language.

Common questions

Can I choose the test length?

Yes. Choose 10 or 20 questions for each practice exam.

Does a practice test replace studying the source?

No. It is a study aid for active recall, and the learner remains responsible for reviewing the source and deciding how to prepare.

Can I review only the questions I missed?

Yes. After submitting the complete practice exam, open the incorrect-question review to see each missed question, your answer, the correct answer, an explanation, and its source page and passage.

How is the practice exam score calculated?

Your submitted option is compared with the single correct option for each question. The result shows how many answers were correct out of the total and the corresponding percentage.

Does every generated question include an explanation?

Yes. Every generated question includes an explanation supported by its cited evidence. The explanation appears with the correct answer and source passage when you review a question you missed.
